The leader of a gang of Paris crooks is at odds with his cronies over some jewelry belonging to a lady from America,she is part of a crime investigation.

Paris is a city where effervescence is dangerous for city dwellers, who have become nothing more than "nervous machines". Two eminent psychiatrists, one French and one American, decided to administer a sedative to all Parisians, proceeding by arrondissement, which they injected in single, double or triple doses. Soon, the whole of Paris was injected. Calm, good humor and kindness returned, but 11 refused to be treated and remained the only Parisian not to have been treated.

The Marriage of Figaro is one of the most emblematic operas in the repertoire. Brahms spoke of it as a “miracle” and the Countess' complaint still resonates today as one of the most heartbreaking musical pages. It was by resuming Beaumarchais' comedy, which caused a scandal in Parisian society, that Mozart and his librettist Da Ponte began their first collaboration. The play was banned by Joseph II in 1785 at the Vienna Theater. Is it because it exposed too much to the forefront the contradictions of an already faltering regime, ready to collapse with the French Revolution? Netia Jones preserves the very essence of Beaumarchais' play by questioning human relationships with humor but not without mischief, in a production which confuses reality and fiction to the point of asking, like the Count: "Are we playing a comedy?" »

Alexandre Gordy voit Cathérine dans une revue au Casino de Paris et pense qu'elle est faite pour le rôle de protagoniste dans la nouvelle comédie et l'invite dans sa villa sur la Côte d'Azur. Cathérine arrive, mais accompagnée de toute sa famille, bouleversant ainsi les plans d'Alexandre. De plus, dans la villa vit aussi Jacques, qui en réalité écrit les oeuvres d'Alexandre et secrètement une revue et qui tombe amoureux de Cathérine.
